ECHOES OF THE YELLOW WALL | WORKS EMERGING FROM SITE-SPECIFIC PERFORMANCE

The water falls, and the paper receives it. The marks, the colors, the flow permeate the fibers. Like the sound of the brush moving across the wall, the water flowing, and the nails pressing into its hard surface, these works now allow us to hear the chalk, the materials, the marks left on the paper, bringing us back to the memory of that moment. These pieces capture the reminiscence of history found in the paint on the yellow wall, the wall of memory.
