In 2009 I created Dot Art Studio as part of my artistic practice and with the firm belief that art education stimulates innovation, creativity, and critical thinking. Dot's mission is to support children in finding individuality and strengthening their inner self through art making and art appreciation; in a safe environment where children can express themselves free of judgment. They are encouraged to experiment and engage in a creative process by playfully translating feelings, problem solving and risk taking; in which the result is a visual statement obtained by the exploration of different art techniques.

A project-based art program with an art history approach where young artists can ignite their creativity, explore their imagination, and express themselves through art. Designed for children ages 5 to 8, this program introduces kids to a variety of engaging art projects, including drawing, painting, photography, printmaking, and sculpture. Children will learn about famous artists and their work, develop art skills, improve fine motor abilities, and build confidence in their creativity.
Our hands-on approach encourages children to experiment with materials like paint, charcoal, watercolors, clay, and textiles. Each class allows kids to discover their own artistic style in a supportive environment.
Join us for a journey of creativity, exploration, and joy through the world of art!

This program challenges participants to refine their skills and expand their artistic vision. Designed to foster both technical skill and intellectual curiosity, this program provides a structured environment for developing a deeper understanding of artistic principles.
Participants will engage with fundamental elements of art, including line, shape, form, color, value, and texture, while experimenting with techniques in drawing, painting, and sculpture. The curriculum integrates art history, offering insights into the works of renowned artists and the concepts that shaped their contributions to the art world.
Emphasis is placed on experimentation with a range of materials, including clay, ink, paint, and graphite, allowing students to expand their expressive capabilities. Additionally, we encourage the use of a sketchbook, guiding students to begin building a portfolio that reflects their artistic growth and individual voice.
